I have known "Robert Jr" as we called him in Happy Valley every since we were very small kids not even in elementary school yet .As I rememebered he could ball ,whether it was baseaball, football, basketball or whatever . Dude could ball ,you name it he could do it well. He'd eat at my grandmothers Ms Essie Mae Irby's house with us quite often and was treated like a memeber of the family . More like a brother that I have never had to me . We'd argue and have disaggreements like any kids would growing up ,but quickly resolved our issues and moved on . The one thing I most definitely remembered about "Robert Jr" was he had a big big heart and would help any way he could whenever, how ever, anybody . Even if he had a beef with you . That was just the kind of person he was. He'd would often feed you in his restaurant if you didnt have any money especially the homeless. That says a lot about him . To his wife ,mother and family please remain strong during this time of sorrow . I will pray for you and may God bless your family ,you will be in my thoughts. I will most definitely miss "Robert Jr" big time .

Rob, that's what we called him in Laurel Creek. You were a gentle giant with a big heart. You will be sorely missed. To his wife and family, Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May the blessings of love be upon you, May its peace abide with you, May its essence illuminate your heart, Now and forever more.
