I wanted to give you my deepest sympathies. The death of a loved one causes us deep pain. At Jeremiah 31:13, Almighty God has promised, "I will change their mourning into exultation. I will comfort them and give them joy instead of their grief." No doubt you look forward to the fulfillment of that promise. You can fully rely on "the God of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" to give you the strength and endurance to cope during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3) At John 5:28,29 Jehovah has promised us the beautiful hope of the resurrection, the hope of being reunited with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. No doubt this is a promise that we look forward to in the near future.

O GOD full of compassion. Thou who dwells on high. Grant perfect rest beneath the sheltering wings of Your presence, among the holy and pure who shine as the brightness on heavens, unto the soul of Charles "Chuckie" Shaw who has gone to eternity and in whose memory will always be for blessings. May his repose be in paradise, may his soul be bound up in the bond of eternal life. May God be his possession, and may Chuckie rest in peace.
