Mrs. Vivian Bates, age 94, of 102 Telfair Street, Fountain Inn, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Fairview Assisted Living, Simpsonville.  Born in Ridge Spring, SC, she was a daughter of John Davis and Alice Campbell Davis and wife of the late John Wesley Bates.  She is survived by one son, Veldon Bates of the home; one daughter, Wanza  Bates of Washington, DC and two sisters, Mabel D. Coker and Tropszey Lee Brewer of Atlanta, GA. 

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn.
